The Nokia N97 has been announced and will include a 3.5-inch touchscreen with haptic feedback. It has a full QWERTY keyboard, and it has a slide and tilt mechanism which brings up the display to a 30 degree angle. N97 features an S60 operating system smartphone to get a better use of the touch input and include many features of the 5800 Xpress Music.

More of the Nokia N97 features include a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, A-GPS with Nokia Mpas, 32GB of storage with microSD card up to 16GB addional storage. The N97 also inludes, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and HSDPA, accelerometer, digital compass, internet full browser the plays YouTube and other online videos, battery life stays up for 1.5 days with continuous audio playback.

The Nokia N97 is all about social networking by the option of placing a window the home screen for a view of Facebook , Myspace, Twiter etc..

The Nokia N97 release date in Europe and Asia begins in the first half of 2009.
